Experienced Accounts Assistant required for a group of companies with the Head Office based in Sheffield. The purpose of the role is to provide day-to-day assistance to the Management Accountant in a busy finance department responsible for several different companies within the group. Duties will include: Processing of purchase invoices. Reconciling supplier accounts Ensuring timely payment of suppliers & staff expenses Bank postings and reconciliation. Assisting with information collation for VAT returns Track and resolve accounting queries, as required. Other ad hoc duties required to support the Management Accountant. Person Previous experience is essential. Accuracy and good attention to detail is required. Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels is essential. Good IT skills including Excel and Sage arerequired.
