Up to 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (start at 8:00am), term time only (38 weeks) Salary: H4 pro rata, FTE annual salary £25,889 - £27,115 Actual salary: £17,552 - £18,383 (based on 30 hours per week) Start date: April 2025, fixed term until July 2025 We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support students with visual impairment within and outside of the classroom, delivering targeted support, as well as helping to support the further development of intervention strategies, such as guided reading. The right candidate will enjoy working with a team to support with the planning and implementation of support and intervention programmes, work with external agencies and support the SENDCO with daily co-ordination and support of specific students with Visual impairment. Training and on-going support will be provided. The teaching assistant role is also suitable for those who wish to experience the classroom before embarking upon a teacher-training qualification.
