HCLTech is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join our award-winning and growing team. This individual is part of the delivery leadership team overseeing client implementations. The EA will be responsible for developing skills across core areas of need, providing leadership, coaching, mentorship, and guidance for a team of consultants ensuring resource success, hiring, best practices, training, and mentorship. The candidate must be able to deal with different personality types, be detail-oriented and must be meticulously organised. In addition, success requires the candidate to be able to prioritise multiple demands in a fast-paced environment. The EA carries the ultimate responsibility of ensuring skill development of delivery consultants.
From a project standpoint, a crucial necessity for an EA is to possess the expertise and anticipation to pre-emptively identify issues that require attention before they escalate. They offer an alternative perspective to the Project Manager and Architects, enabling them to verify the quality and methodology.
The role has been divided into 3 clear sections – Practice, Projects, and People
Roles and Responsibilities
Practice: Be able to coach and advise consultants as it relates to their skills development and performance. Encourage and motivate consultants to invest in themselves via training, being involved in Centres of Excellence and / or skills development to assist the company as a whole or expand the consultant’s own skillsets. Work strategically with the Practice Director to ensure skills required in our programs and projects are maintained by the consultants.
Project: Working with the Consultants / Project Directors and Centre of Excellence Leads to ensure a consistent high quality delivery approach based on our Proven Process methodology. Facilitate the sharing of best practice processes. Facilitate the identification and adoption of new and emerging best practices. Serve as the initial point of escalation and possess the capability to intervene whenever necessary to address and resolve any problems, issues, or conflicts that may arise during a project.
People:
Work with Project Directors to receive feedback from consultants’ performance and / or escalations. Lead check-ins with each individual consultant. Actively coordinate the periodic appraisals and ensure that the process is completed successfully, hence influencing the career path of individuals within the Practice. Actively mentor and guide capability managers that form part of their team.
Preferred Qualifications and Skillsets
* Possess bachelor’s degree or equivalent or extensive, previous experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Sound knowledge on Project Management and different Project Management styles like Waterfall, Agile, Scrum etc.
* Participation in multiple large- or enterprise-scale projects
* Expertise of the Power Platform COE and all governance components
* Expert level Dynamics CRM experience from D365 Online onwards in the following: -
* Sales
* Marketing
* Servicing
* Administration
* Configuration
* Customisation
* Security
* Solution Management
* Experience using Microsoft Azure, AWS, or other cloud computing platforms
* Ability to speak with team members and clients at all levels within an organisation.
* Ability to balance short-term demands while maintaining the long-term vision needed to guide a customer through the implementation process.
* Advanced experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio.
