As an English Teacher, you will inspire students to explore the world of literature and language, helping them develop critical thinking and communication skills. Responsibilities of the SEMH Teaching Assistant:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver exciting English lessons
* Develop and implement engaging curriculum materials
* Monitor and assess student progress
* Support students in reaching their full potential
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
Requirements of the SEMH Teaching Assistant:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience teaching English at secondary school level
* Strong classroom management skills
* Excellent subject knowledge in English literature and language
* Ability to engage and motivate students
* Commitment to promoting student progress and achievement
* Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
