We are looking for an experienced Maintenance/Industrial Electrician to play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide array of manufacturing equipment. This hands-on position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology while supporting our skilled maintenance team.
Key qualifications and experience:
* Electrical trade qualification or equivalent tertiary qualification, with EWRB registration
* Minimum two years experience in a maintenance or industrial setting
* Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, such as welders, paint systems, furnaces, and rotating machinery
* Experience with CNC equipment maintenance is an advantage
* Working knowledge of PLCs, VSDs, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems is an advantage
* Strong understanding of safe working practices
What we're looking for:
* Technical expertise with a logical approach to problem-solving
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Strong reading and understanding of electrical schematics
* Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility to assist with mechanical tasks when needed
* Availability for shift work, including occasional afternoon shifts
