A secondary school in Hackney is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time ‘Science Teacher to join them from January until the end of the academic year in the first instance. Science Teacher -role: Strong knowledge of the science curriculum and experience of teaching GCSE Science in any of biology, chemistry and/or physics. Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources. Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school. Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress in their maths studies. Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons. Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these. Science Teacher-Qualifications and Skills: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent as a Science Teacher. Demonstrated experience teaching Science at secondary level in the UK. A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best. Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners. Strong behaviour management and ability to motivate students.
