We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Office Administrator (Level 4) to join our busy School Administration Team. This role would ideally suit someone with excellent administrative skills, good attention to detail, very good computer skills and an ability to multi-task. You will also have the ability to develop good working relationships with children, parents, colleagues and external members.This is a permanent position for 30 hours per week, 40 weeks per year. This includes INSET days and one week during the school holidays. The hours of work will be 9.00am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday. This will involve duties such as, but not limited to, producing correspondence, transport arrangements, orders and invoices, contacting suppliers, parents and other organisations. Essentially, you will be involved in every administrative aspect of running a school office. Candidates will need the following experience and qualities:
A proven ability to prioritise a diverse workload and multitask
Proficiency in IT applications – An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft outlook, Word and Excel are essential and knowledge of SIMs, Weduc and Mstore is desirable
The ability to problem solve independently and within a team
Experience of producing / maintaining / evaluating data with accuracy
Have strong inter-personal skills and a caring nature
Good communication skills Positive Outlook and sense of humour
