Job Purpose
To facilitate thelearning and development of adult learners to upskill existinghealth and social care workers to support their career progression.You will play a pivotal role in imparting knowledge practicalskills and professional insights to equip learners with thenecessary competencies to excel in their careers. Key Responsibilities
* Plan prepareand deliver highquality teaching and learning sessions workshopsand tutorials in line with the curriculum requirements and theneeds of individual learners ensuring learning objectives aremet.
* Assess learners abilities and identify areas forimprovement tailoring teaching and learning methods and resourcesaccordingly.
* Develop and deliver consistently engaging andinteractive sessions utilising a variety of teaching techniques andmaterials to enhance learners understanding and engagement with thesubject/topic.
* Provide individualised support to learners addressingtheir specific learning needs and challenges through oneononemeetings and additional learning resources.
* Rigorously monitor and track learners progressproviding regular feedback and implementing strategies to addressareas of weakness or underperformance.
* Set and markassignments tests and examinations providing constructive feedbackto learners to support their learning and improvement.
* Collaborate withother team members to share best practices contribute to curriculumdevelopment and participate in team meetings and trainingsessions.
* Establish and maintain a positive and inclusivelearning environment actively promoting learner participationmotivation and confidence in professional development.
* Maintain accuraterecords of learners attendance progress and assessment outcomesensuring compliance with regulatory and internalrequirements.
* Communicate regularly with learners employers andrelevant stakeholders to provide updates on progress addressconcerns and foster effective partnerships in support of learnersuccess.
* Stay abreast of the latest developments in sectorspecialism curriculum changes and teaching methodologiescontinuously updating own knowledge and skills.

MinimumLevel 3 teaching learning and assessment qualification such as AETor PTLLS or willingness to work toward.
* Level 4 orabove subject specialism
* Level 3 CAVA or equivalent or willingness towork toward.
* GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language andMathematics
* Full Driving Licence
* Level 4 IQA orequivalent
* L5 teaching qualification or willingness to worktoward.
* First Aid at Work Certificate
* IOSH Health andSafety Qualification
* Experience
* Extensive handson experience and a strongtrack record in the Health and Social Care sector
* Teaching or trainingexperience with the ability to convey complex technical informationeffectively.
* Previous experience working as a health and social caretutor or in a similar training role.
* Experience incurriculum development and educational material creation.Knowledge
* Sound knowledge of health and social care practicessector regulations and health and safety protocols.
* Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills to engage and connect withlearners.
* Effective organisational skills to plan prepare anddeliver effective training sessions.
* Patience adaptabilityand the ability to tailor teaching learning and assessment methodsto various learning styles.
* IT literacy for creating and maintainingdigital training resources.
