The successful candidate will provide clerical and administration support to the Partner and Senior Solicitor as well as the wider Conveyancing Team. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to begin their career in a Top 10 Legal Firm and busy Legal and Estate Agency office. Full training will be provided. Role of Department Residential Conveyancing Estate Agency Job Purpose To cover all aspects of residential conveyancing To provide secretarial support to lawyer To work as part of a team and individually to ensure the best customer service To provide support to other team members and departments where required To deal with client queries Key Responsibilities Opening Purchase and Sale Files on Firm Case Management System/Preparing Quotations/TOB’s/Offers/Completing Money Laundering/Importing relevant file documents and emails onto case management system Dealing with clients within the office, on the telephone and via email Keeping Client updated on their transaction Meet with clients to take relevant ID/Witness client signatures on documentation Closing Files Case Management System and scanning any residual file documents into case management system, sending out documents to clients as appropriate Qualifications Essential National 5 / Higher qualification in English Skills and Experience Essential Previous office experience Confidentiality Ability to prioritise workload Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Experience dealing with customers / clients Desirable Previous Conveyancing experience Knowledge Essential Previous Administrative experience Aptitudes Essential Ability to work on own initiative Excellent client communication Organised and diligent Ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times
