Across Dovehaven Care Homes, we provide a full range of care for both long term and respite periods. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for an Internal Recruiter to join the HR & Recruitment Team based in at our head office on Lord Street in Southport town centre. In addition, there is the opportunity for hybrid working. As an internal recruiter, supported by the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for finding, attracting, and sourcing potential candidates through various online channels as well as advertising on via internal channels. You will be comfortable with managing multiple vacancies and meeting tight deadlines. Duties And Responsibilities Collaborate with all hiring managers to identify and understand current and future hiring needs Design and update job adverts Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g., social media and professional platforms) Sift CV’s and conduct initial screening calls for potential candidates Interview candidates (via phone, zoom/Teams, and in-person) Administer pre-employment assessments and checks Support with Screening Checks and ensure screening checks are completed Advertise job openings on the company vacancy page as well as on social media Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers Make verbal/written conditional offers of employment as well as answer queries about compensation and benefits To grow the talent pool with qualified and contactable candidates Using systems and databases available, and own initiative to contact potential/passive candidates, to build relationships and the pipeline for future recruits Conducting as many initial screening/ prospecting calls as required To ensure any candidates sourced in talent pool are tagged appropriately To make regular contact with sourced candidates, i.e., when another suitable role becomes available, or after 2-3 months since last contact To communicate with Hiring Managers to ensure all candidates are booked in for interviews at the earliest opportunity To follow up with Hiring Manager once interview has been conducted, checking all interview notes are recorded and communications followed up with candidates, to help facilitate a timely decision Attend and facilitate job fayres and community events To maintain good working relationships with colleagues. Any other duties as deemed necessary to support internal stakeholders i.e. home managers and colleagues.
