Main duties of the job We are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to support the Surgical Care Group (CG). Reporting to the Associate Director of Finance (ADOF), you willdirectly line-manage the CG financial portfolio, working closely with the CG triumvirate to provide a comprehensive range of specialist and expert financial advice, training and support to enable the delivery of services efficiently and economically, as well as ensuring the achievement of all CG financial targets. The FBP will provide comprehensive management support to the ADOF, deputising as appropriate. The post holder will use high level technical, analytical, interpersonal and negotiating skills to develop excellent working relationships with a wide range of internal and external managers across the NHS and wider system, and work autonomously as an expert practitioner, with minimal supervision, using own initiative to make operational decisions often without reference to others.
