Job Overview
Our Resident Assistants provide both physical and emotional care to our Residents and their families.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
1. Assist residents with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) as identified in the service plan, including dressing, grooming, oral care, shampooing hair, showering or bathing, toileting, applying lotions, fingernail care, and foot care as instructed by an RN.
2. Assist with ambulation and transfers, using proper techniques to avoid injury.
3. Assist residents with hearing aids and glasses.
4. Help residents maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
5. Provide physical and emotional support to residents.
6. Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement.
7. Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions.
8. Encourage participation in activities and escort residents to scheduled events.
9. Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
10. Complete all required documentation daily.
11. Attend in-service training as assigned.

5. Demonstrated good interpersonal skills.

Working Hours
We have FT & PT shifts available on our 2:30-10:30 and 10:30-6:30 shifts. The RA will be required to work every other weekend and some holidays.
