NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
There are two permanent, part-time posts of 14.25 hours per week, with a shift pattern of 3 nights per fortnight. Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.
Renfrewshire HSCP are looking to recruit Band 3 Health Care Support Workers to join our overnight district nursing service. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced or new HCSWs to join our team. As a HCSW you will have the awareness and ability to address the basic care needs of individual patients under the direction and supervision of the registered nurses. You will support the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of high quality, patient centred, safe and effective care. You must also demonstrate excellent communication skills. You should be able to work autonomously as well as within a team and be committed to continuous professional development. The post holder will require an SVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent experience. A current driving license is desirable as well as previous experience within a Primary Care setting.
