Position Summary: The Assistant Management Accountant will assume responsibility for performing and coordinating accounting duties within our organisation, providing reliable support to the management accountant. The candidate will prepare accounts, budgeting, manage financial information, and perform audits where needed, ensuring the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and governmental agency reports. Participating in the formulation of budgetary and accounting policies for the company. Working closely with the Management Accountant on business performance, providing analysis, and forecasting. Assisting in the month end process, preparing VAT and corporate tax payments as required. Supporting with system/process improvements to streamline and improve efficiency. Skills and Qualifications: AAT Qualified with a drive to continue onto further professional development (ACCA,CIMA) Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. Excellent computer skills, proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel. Experience in using financial software. Excellent analytical and numerical abilities. Sound business knowledge.
