Planning Manager
Location: Stoke - Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Mon to Fri

What you'll do
As a key manager in Central Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring that sufficient capacity is available within the function to meet the change demand activity impacting the assisted Consumer channels. You will lead a team of up to 4 Planning & Governance Specialists/Analysts and a Vendor Relations Specialist who work with vendors (Samsung, Apple, Motorola, etc.) to scope, plan, and manage initiatives across the year, delivering updates and presenting critical information to the Head of Central Operations and other senior stakeholders along the way.
* You will oversee the long-term planning for Commercial Operations, ensuring that the demand from each business unit is viable.
* You will collaborate with Commercial Operations Management to allocate resources and prioritize the implementation of launches, addressing any constraints that arise.
* You will develop and keep a collection of best-in-class documentation templates for work methods and project delivery.
* You will manage the yearly CAPEX and OPEX budget for the Channel Implementation team.
* You will continually review the way we work in all areas of the Central Operations Function, seeking out cost savings, efficiency gains and creating innovation in all areas.
* You will develop and manage the talent pipeline within Central Operations, while driving team engagement.
Who you are
* You will have people management or leadership experience with the proven ability to lead teams to perform in a high-pressure environment.
* You will have programme and project management skills or experience.
* You will have strong communication and influencing abilities, with experience at a senior level.
* You will have customer facing and/or Partner experience with an understanding of frontline systems and processes across key sales and care journeys.
* You will have commercial acumen & ability to demonstrate return of investment (ROI) for respective workstreams.
