We are looking to appoint an inspiring and creative Computing and Information Technology lecturer to join our vibrant, enthusiastic, and highly productive team. The college is an exciting place to work as the Computing provision expands, and this post will play a central role in our development of a Digital Academy, specialising in emerging technologies such as AI/VR/AR/MR, robotics, and Esports.
Lecturers in the department can deliver across our whole range of provision, from Level 1 to Level 7, including T levels, BTEC, A-Level, and Higher Education to BSc (Hons), depending on the skills and experience of the successful candidate. We also contribute to the delivery of IT units in other subject areas such as Business and A levels.
Applicants for this post require teaching experience, a Degree level qualification in a related subject, along with a relevant Further Education teaching qualification. We expect applicants to be ambitious in their expectations for learners and share our commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.

This has allowed teaching, learning, and assessment to replicate the situations found in a range of business-related roles across a variety of sectors.
What will the role involve?
Main aspects are:
1. Supporting students to achieve their fullest academic potential.
2. Developing and delivering their best ability in learning, teaching, and assessment.
3. Presenting constructive feedback and suggesting strategies for students' improvement of performance and success.
4. Providing progression outcomes to management in order to continuously improve teaching and learning.
5. Monitoring and managing student attendance.
6. Assisting in the implementation of pastoral and welfare systems for students.
7. Acting as a Personal Tutor when necessary by providing advice and guidance.
8. Undertaking course co-ordination as required.
