Intend Electrical are looking for an experienced plumber to join their busy and growing team working out of their Nottingham office. The role will involve a variety of plumbing tasks including emergency repairs, routine maintenance and installation works for both domestic and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be happy to work on their own or as part of a small team. You will be expected to respond to call-outs, handle planned installations, and ensure all work is completed to a high standard. Day to Day Duties Include But Are Not Limited To: Undertaking planned & reactive trade-related maintenance tasks within own area of expertise and skill set Participating in the out of hours call out rota as required. Taking measurements, estimating labour and identifying material requirements for follow-on works via reporting system and completing work notes. Carrying out work in a safe and diligent manner adhering to company policies, procedures. Basic competency in using technology – email and the use of tablets for internal software system. Sound understanding of Health, Safety and environmental legislation and working practices. Good communication skills (verbal and written). Must be able to cover emergency call outs (evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis). The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Appropriate qualifications in plumbing - NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent. G3 Unvented Qualification. Ability to work on own initiative. Must have driver’s licence and be willing to travel. Previous experience in Commercial Plumbing The salary for this role is between £16-£18 per hour DOE. In addition to this, we also offer an on-call and overtime allowance. The position will be based at our newly refurbished office in Nottingham, with free drinks, fruit and refreshments.
