If so, Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking an Associate Lecturer to join the School of Creative Arts, Culture and Communication next year to teach the module on digital communication practice. As Associate Lecturer you would teach the following module: Communicating Digitally 33 hours in total 11 teaching days You will have knowledge of advanced skills in digital communication techniques (including blogging, vlogging, podcasting, social media and digital publications), recent experience of working directly in at least two of these publication formats / interactive environments, and be qualified to the corresponding level of the award as required to teach (or demonstrate equivalent professional/industry level experience). Remuneration Payment is based on an hourly rate depending on length of continuous service with the College (starting rate £68.13 per hour inclusive of pro-rata London Allowance and holiday pay) for contact hours worked. This hourly rate is based on the starting point of Grade 7 and is inclusive of a ‘Duties Related to Teaching Multiplier’ at 2.5, which covers preparation, teaching, administration, assessment marking and other examining duties in connection with the course.
