Your new role
The ideal candidate for the Graduate Engineering role will join their team in Magherafelt office, engaging in various tasks such as:
1. Designing structural precast concrete products with fibre reinforcement.
2. Acquiring new programming skills.
3. Streamlining and optimising calculations for improved designs.
4. Participating in research projects involving full-scale manufacturing and testing new materials to verify design accuracy.
5. Collaborating with experienced engineers in a lab setting on low carbon concrete design and manufacturing research.
6. Testing low carbon concrete alternatives in a factory environment.
7. Utilising advanced equipment to assess the properties of fresh and hardened concrete.
8. Documenting test data and contributing to technical reports and meetings.
9. Continuously learning and applying knowledge to solve complex problems.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the Graduate Engineering role, our client requires a candidate who has a Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with excellent computer skills with a good knowledge of CAD software and MS Excel. It would be desirable if the candidate has the ability to prioritise work and manage several tasks concurrently, possess excellent communication skills and have a Full UK Driving licence.
