Flt driver

Job Description

Carbon60 are currently looking for a Counterbalance FLT driver to join a client of ours based on the Saputo Dairy site in Camelford. Due to location you will need a driving licence and your own vehicle to get to site. You also need a active counter balance FLT licence.

Our client is a large engineering company with over 170 sites around the UK an Ireland. They specialise in providing engineering components to their clients through a logistics service along with providing electrical and mechanical maintenance to rotating equipment.
Pay/Salary: £26,000/annum, £12.50/hour, No overtime
Working Hours/Shift Pattern: 8am - 5pm, 40 hours/week Monday - Friday, 1 hour lunch per day
Type of Employment: 6 weeks temporary only (could be extended but cannot be guaranteed) end date 16th May
Main duties & responsibilities:

* Operating Counterbalance Forklift to -
* Offloading deliveries from lorries
* Offloading chemicals / IBC's (100L containers/drums on pallets)
* Organise cardboard deliveries, work alongside other FLT Driver to offload and store away as a team
* General stores duties and manual handling as required
* Housekeeping in stores area where needed

Essential skills / experience / qualifications:

1. Active Counterbalance FLT license required*
2. Experience using Counterbalance FLT to load/unload stock
