We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to enable clients with complex needs to move towards recovery. As a Support Worker in our Supported Housing Service, you will work in a psychologically and trauma-informed way, be values-led, and look to grow both personally and professionally.
The Role
The aim of a Support Worker is to deliver person-centred support to clients who are on a journey to recovery and who live in our Supported Housing service. Working in a psychologically, adversity, and trauma-informed way, this includes:
1. Holding a caseload of clients who you meet 1:1 at least weekly
2. Developing and facilitating groups and activities for clients
3. Developing support plans and working creatively with clients to support them to meet their goals
4. Helping clients to develop skills to move towards independent living
5. Helping clients to maximise their income
6. Championing hope and courage
7. Responding to incidents and ensuring diligent reporting
8. Promoting the safety and wellbeing of clients
