Job Title: IT Support Analyst

This role is working with a Korean consumer electronics company.
To support wider corporate programmes in artificial intelligence, our Cambridge-based team is expanding across research, engineering, and design disciplines. We work in close collaboration with leading universities to drive forward mutual research goals and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Set up and configure Windows laptops
2. Troubleshoot proxy issues and manage rules via GUI
3. Troubleshoot Windows, Outlook, and other common software
4. Deliver induction sessions for new starters
5. Manage assets via the Service Desk Portal
6. Log and respond to incidents/requests using the IT Helpdesk platform
7. Create and manage user accounts
8. Administer security tools (e.g. NASCA, ESCORT)
9. Write and maintain user-facing FAQ/How-To guides on Confluence
10. Provide one-to-one support where necessary
11. Investigate incidents proactively and resolve issues on affected systems
12. Identify root causes of incidents and communicate updates to users
13. Coordinate with the centre’s IT Engineer to test system changes
14. Ensure sufficient IT stock is available to support the centre’s needs
Skills and Experience:
1. Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
2. Knowledge of Symantec Antivirus
3. PC installation, setup, and troubleshooting
4. Basic understanding of Active Directory
5. Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
6. Understanding of firewalls and proxy servers
