SATEDA is an accredited specialist domestic abuse charity providing services to Women and Children across Kent and Medway. We’re looking for a woman with a passion to end gender-based violence, to join our team and provide individual support predominately across Maidstone and Swale.
The post holder will use their experience of trauma informed delivery, to be flexible and responsive in finding innovative ways to engage, support and safeguard women and their families experiencing domestic abuse. You will advise clients of their options, assist them in attaining their rights, and support them to live a life free from domestic abuse; you will aid them on their ongoing recovery from domestic abuse.
As a competent communicator, you’ll have the ability to work closely with external agencies, advocate for women, and be a positive ambassador for SATEDA ensuring services are delivered to Leading Lights Accredited standard. We are particularly interested to receive applications from women who have experience of working with domestic abuse in a health or social care setting.
Location: Sittingbourne or Maidstone with regular travel across Maidstone and Swale
Salary: £24,000 per annum (pro rata).
Hours: 37 hours per week
This role is restricted to women under Part 1, Schedule 9 or the Equality Act 2010
A driving licence and use of a car is essential for this role
For this role an enhanced DBS check will be carried out by SATEDA
