Canon Europa Nottingham is a busy service and refurbishment centre with customers located in several countries. Service engineers travel frequently to repair, service and optimize Canon’s semiconductor machines at customer sites. The engineer will be required to work on various kinds of Canon semiconductor equipment and work with customers to maintain uptime of busy production equipment. Interaction with customers is essential in the job so a positive outlook and flexible approach are required. What we ask
As the Service Engineer you will:
8. Servicing customers equipment on site in a busy cleanroom environment
9. Extensive travel within Europe and further can be involved
10. Working in Nottingham cleanroom on refurbishing used equipment
11. Keeping up to date on service information
12. Writing service reports both for customers and for internal
You will need
As the Service Engineer you will have the following skills:
13. Minimum HNC in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
14. High standard of written and spoken English and numeracy skills
15. Electrical or electronic background for a minimum of 3 years.
16. Mechanical skills advantageous
17. Computer literate with a good competence of standard software including Word, Excel and Outlook
18. Good interpersonal skills and a flexible approach
19. Proven employment track record
