Role Description
We are seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our client's team. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate financial records for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process subcontractor and supplier invoices
* Coordinate and process supplier and subcontractor payment runs
* Prepare and submit VAT returns
* Manage CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) deductions and submissions
* Reconcile bank statements and oversee accounts payable/receivable
* Process employee expense claims
* Perform additional finance-related tasks as required
Qualifications
* Experience in the construction industry is desirable
* Strong knowledge of financial statements, bookkeeping, and accounting software
* Understanding of journal entries and general accounting principles
* Highly detail-oriented and organised with a focus on accuracy
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Relevant certification or degree in Accounting or Finance
