We are seeking a dedicated NMC registered nurse to join our healthcare team in the London area. The Clinical Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care and administering a range of medications. Your Role
As more patients are treated outside a traditional hospital setting, the role of the home care Nurse is developing. We work in various environments such as clinics, residential accommodations, and patients' own homes. Our nurses help the NHS meet the needs of elderly, disabled, or vulnerable patients who may not be able to easily visit the hospital. We support our patients to become more independent in managing their treatment and make the whole treatment journey more convenient.
You will need to be kind, compassionate, and caring with a desire to provide an excellent patient experience and safe and effective care.
Duties
* Perform patient observations and ensure that any patient is fit to proceed with their treatment.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
* Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
* Provide compassionate support to the patient and family.
* Educate patients and their families to promote understanding and independence.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams ensuring that patient safety is paramount.
Requirements
* Current NMC registration.
* Experience of administering S/C, IM, or IV medications.
* SACT experience.
* Valid UK driving license.
* Willingness to work autonomously.
* Attention to detail.
