We are seeking an experienced small work project manager to join a top facilities management provider, overseeing a variety of projects across NHS contracts. This is an excellent opportunity to manage minor works, refurbishments, and lifecycle projects in live, occupied healthcare environments, ensuring all works are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate quotations and manage financial and contractual aspects of small works and minor projects (typically valued between £5k and £200k).
* Oversee a variety of projects, including building fabric, M&E, and re-modelling.
* Identify and manage suitable subcontractors or internal teams to ensure project delivery.
* Issue subcontractor orders and oversee works, ensuring program updates, health and safety compliance, and client reporting.
* Attend design and site meetings to ensure client requirements and contract specifications are met.
* Maintain quality assurance standards and ensure all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
* Manage budgets effectively, ensuring projects are delivered within financial and contractual parameters.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in NHS/Healthcare Projects: Previous experience working on NHS contracts or in healthcare environments, with knowledge of Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs) preferred.
* Certifications: Ideally, candidates should hold both SMSTS and IOSH certifications. However, applicants with one certification (SMSTS preferred) will also be considered.
* Proven Project Management Skills: Strong background in managing small works, refurbishments, and lifecycle projects, ideally within live or occupied environments.
* Financial and Commercial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets, quotations, and contractual obligations effectively.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Strong ability to collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
Additional Information:
* Primary Base: Dartford office, with occasional remote working.
* Project Locations: Covering Kent, North Kent, Essex, and East London (e.g., Sidcup, Medway, Ilford, Epping, Rayleigh).
* Project Types: Minor refurbishments, re-decoration, power installations, flooring refurbishments, LED lighting upgrades, roofing works, and boiler updates.
