As a Reception Teacher in Hull, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality early years education and inspiring young children to develop a love for learning. Key Responsibilities of Reception Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the school community.
Organise and supervise extracurricular activities and events, fostering a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external partners to enhance the curriculum and support student development.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
Promote health and safety in all activities, ensuring students understand the importance of safe practices.
Requirements of Reception Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
Experience in teaching Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) students is essential.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
Commitment to promoting a love for learning and curiosity about the world.
Relevant qualifications or training in early childhood education (desirable but not essential).

Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
