What you’ll be doing:
* Every day, you’ll be making a difference working with adults for the provision of community-based adult services in the borough of Walsall, providing support to both males and females.
* Providing personal care such as washing, dressing, bathing, preparing meals, mobility assistance, escorting duties, etc.
* Providing support service and support with outings for adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health issues.
Candidates must be flexible to work on a rota basis over a 7-day period including weekends and/or evenings. Morning shifts can start between 6 am and end at 3 pm. Evening shifts start at 3 pm and finish between 10 pm and 11 pm. Flexibility is essential to the job role and times above may vary.
Minimum Requirements:
* Training and experience equivalent to Level 2 in Health and Social Care would be beneficial. Non-drivers will only be considered if they are willing to travel to care visits independently.
* Experience or qualification of working with autism, learning disabilities, and dementia would be desirable.
