achieved by the Connectors.
Purpose

film and photography, that tells the story of Toonspeak’s work with children, young
people and communities across Glasgow.
2. To co-ordinate all Toonspeak public facing digital platforms including our website
and social media channels, celebrating our multiple theatre and arts programmes,

3. To create, implement and manage bespoke marketing and fundraising campaigns
which elevate the voice of Toonspeak to wider audiences locally, as well as across
the youth arts and professional theatre sector.
Key responsibilities include
1. Co-developing and implementing digital media strategies through designing,
creating and editing original digital content to share across our online platforms.
2. Co-ordinating the strategic delivery of marketing campaigns using a range of

campaigns, website and social media).
3. Managing the day-to-day running of the Toonspeak website and supporting its
development.
4. Managing Toonspeak social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn,
including designing and implementing content plans for social media posting.
5. Supporting the delivery of fundraising campaigns in collaboration with the whole
core team.
6. Capturing and editing moving image and photography of all Toonspeak activity.
7. Monitoring and maintaining GDPR permissions for Toonspeak digital media content.
8. Organising and maintaining digital film and video libraries.
9. Monitoring and analysing digital media performance metrics, auditing Toonspeak
social media and digital presence for improvements.
10. Ensuring brand consistency across all output.
11. Boosting engagement through targeted social media campaigns and email
marketing campaigns.
12. Contributing to and issuing press releases and arranging media calls if needed.
13. Optimising content for SEO best practices.
14. Collaborating with the wider Toonspeak team, including artists, participants and
key stakeholders.
Person Specification
1. Demonstrable skills and experience of working within a digital media context, within
a theatre, arts or cultural organisation.
2. Passionate in advocating for the rights of children and young people’s equitable
opportunity to experience arts activity.
3. Previous experience with digital asset management systems.
4. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator,
and Premiere Pro.
5. Experience in media production, including photography and videography.
6. Experience managing and scheduling digital social media content across platforms
