ROLE: Technical Rescue Manager - Technical rescue services
You will manage a small team of competent and qualified technical leads within the Rescue Division. Oversee and coordinate all technical rescue operations, ensuring the safety and efficiency of team efforts.
Conduct risk assessments and develop operational plans for various rescue scenarios. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
EXPERIENCE: Technical Rescue Manager - Technical rescue services
You should have over 2 years of experience within emergency services, specifically focused on rescue operations, with in-depth knowledge in confined space entry and rescue, rope rescue, and mountain rescue.
A Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science or Rescue Technology is highly desirable.
Relevant certifications in technical rescue are preferred, and further training and certification opportunities are available as needed. Certified Technical Rescuer (CTR), as well as accreditations with the Fire Industry Association (FIA) or National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), are highly valued.
Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with a valid UK Driving Licence. This is an office-based role, with site visits primarily across the South East and London regions.
