A forward-thinking architectural practice based in the Lincolnshire is seeking talented and motivated Architectural Assistants to join their dynamic team. Specialising in planning, architecture, and land promotion, the practice is dedicated to transforming underutilised spaces into valuable assets, with a particular focus on Class Q permitted development projects. This is a unique opportunity for Architectural Assistants at both Part 1 and Part 2 levels to develop their careers within a practice committed to excellence in design and planning.
The successful candidate will support senior architects and planners in developing design solutions for a variety of projects, including residential conversions of agricultural buildings. Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Assistant:
RIBA Part 1 or Part 2 qualification in Architecture.
Proficiency in Revit is essential.
Strong understanding of UK building regulations and planning policies.
Experience with design software such as Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial.
Excellent design and visualisation skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Assist in the preparation of design proposals, technical drawings, and presentations using Revit.
Conduct site visits and surveys to gather essential project information.
Collaborate with the design team to develop creative and practical solutions.
Research and apply relevant building regulations and planning policies, including Class Q permitted development rights.
Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors.
