Wondering what a typical week with P4A looks like? Well, the truth is, there isnt one. Each one of our service users are different and their support goals are personalised to them. Adaptability is at the core of who we are as a service, respecting that each client is an individual is the key to success Now, there may be some reoccurring themes such as support with daily household task like preparing meals, keeping their home tidy, shopping or supporting with medication and accessing the community. But along with our clients our ambitions aim to be far beyond that allowing them to grow. We are currently recruiting for our team based in Towcester, with some cross over into Northampton. The majority of the support will focus on a small number of individuals with a variety of interests and support needs. For some of these clients, a big focus is on achieving their employment goals. While others it may be more tailored to healthy lifestyle choices such as fresh meal preparation and exercise routines. All have a desire to develop social opportunities with leisure activities with peers such as meals out, bowling, pool to name a few. The options are almost endless and we are looking for individuals with a drive to make a difference and seek new opportunities for our service users to make the most out of their support and strive to reach their individual goals. A proactive attitude and positive outlook on support will take you most of the way There are some essential criteria for this role such as having full driving licence and access to your own vehicle with business insurance. Experience with Autism and learning disabilities are essential and an understanding of different communication resources and methods would be an advantage. Our training programs incorporate full support using a mixture in-person and online training with options to explore further with NVQ's in health and social care at various levels. All of our team will need to go through a number of pre employment checks including comprehensive work history, criminal records and barring lists. Needing a role that can work around your current commitments? We strive to strike the right balance between the needs of the service and those delivering it, with your availability and commitments considered every step of the way. Our day teams work on a four week cycle, with static rest days in the week and alternative weekends off, meaning you can plan ahead. Full time roles are available at 37.5 hours with options available from 16 hours, with overtime typically available.
