Cloud Governance Lead Salary: National circa £75,000 / London circa £95,000 We are looking for a Hosting Architecture Governance Lead to join our Hosting Platforms function within Group Enterprise Technology. A bit about the job: As the Cloud Governance Lead your key responsibilities are: Lead and mentor a team of Cloud Architects and Cloud Security Architects, ensuring high-quality design and managing the Hosting Governance Team Promote the use of standardized design patterns, adherence to standards, and identify opportunities for cost efficiency and sustainability Act as the Technical Design Authority for applications on Aviva's Cloud Platform, overseeing platform services and technical evaluations Build relationships with other Architecture Design Authorities, stay updated on Aviva Change Programme initiatives, and ensure alignment with Group Architecture governance processes Maintain and update Cloud Design Patterns, Standards, Principles, and Terms of Use, enhance governance processes, and educate the community on governance and technology direction Skills and experience we're looking for: Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to understand and advise on complex challenges/requirements across Aviva Businesses to enable project deliveries Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives Expertise in leveraging cloud technology to optimize cost, sustainability, performance, and reliability Extensive experience with AWS and/or Azure services, including Cloud architectural principles and Well Architected frameworks Skilled in providing guidance, consultancy, and support, offering subject matter expertise, and troubleshooting complex cloud issues What you'll get for this role: Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow - is a promise we make to our colleagues too.
