Job summary Variety of hours available The Specialist Stroke Rehabilitation Inpatient Unit is based at the Vale Community Hospital in Dursley, offering residents of Gloucestershire a dedicated specialist stroke rehabilitation service in a Community Hospital environment. Adopting national best practice, the unit ensures that people suffering from a stroke within Gloucestershire will benefit from an improved clinical pathway. To maximize the health outcomes of our stroke patients, there is close collaborative working with colleagues in the Hyper Acute Stroke Unit at Gloucester Royal Hospital, the acute stroke rehabilitation unit on Woodmancote ward at Cheltenham General Hospital & the Countywide Early Supported Discharge Team. Peak View Ward also offers sub acute care, general rehabilitation & end of life care to patients who are not on the stroke pathway.
