We have an opportunity for an intelligent, skilled, motivated and organised individual to join our Safety, Health and Environmental department. The position will require the individual to work alongside the Departmental Managers, to assist in the day to day organisation and management of the site staff, to ensure the clients requirements and expectations are delivered.
You will be part of a busy team, representing the business as the face and voice of Bradley Environmental to our ever-growing client base served by the company.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Dealing with incoming enquiries from existing and new clients for a range of services including; Occupational Hygiene Monitoring Projects, Health and Safety Services, Work Place Noise Assessments and Fire Risk Assessments.
* Liaising with Departmental Managers to gather information from the clients to enable quotations to be prepared and delivered in response to the incoming enquiries.
* Entering the quote information into the database system, to enable quotes to be tracked.
* Undertake periodic analysis of quote data, for the marketing department to enable improvements to be made to increase the success rate of quotes delivered by the company.
* Liaising with clients and the Technical Managers to book work into the diary for site staff.
* Ensuring the daily diary is managed and kept up to date, including collation of daily figures for financial targets for each team.
* Creating electronic document packages for site staff, to provide the information required to do the jobs that are assigned to them.
* Assisting with the client management requirements as needed.
* Liaising with third party laboratories and other suppliers, in relation to sample analysis and provision of sampling media.
* Liaising with the account department to ensure Purchase Orders are provided for all analysis works requested from third party laboratories.
* Assisting with the Quality Management of the various services offered, including liaison with the internal Quality Management team.
Person Specification
A good general standard of education, a science bias would be an advantage.
* Strong organisational skills are essential, preferably demonstrated through recent/previous work experience
* Excellent IT skills with experience of working on a variety of software packages and must possess a proven and proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Have an excellent telephone manner
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver first rate customer service.
* Be a good self-learner, with enthusiasm and ambition to improve your own skill set and take an active role in improving systems and processes within the team and be happy to attend further training courses if required.
* Be comfortable working alone and as part of a team, some of whom will be based in other offices.

What We Can Offer You
The role will be based in our Halesowen or Ossett office.
However, once the successful candidate is comfortable within the role it is envisaged that the role can be undertaken with a mix of office and home working, to suit both the candidate and the needs of the business.
The role is based on a 37.5 hour working week.
Starting salary is dependent upon experience, knowledge and qualifications between £24,219.00 to £25,077.00
A company paid healthcare package is provided (long service awards applies) as is a company pension and 22 days holiday per year, plus the 8 statutory bank holidays (long service awards apply).
