About our Team
As a Software Engineering Manager/Software Engineering Lead, you will be leading and liaising with dynamic, passionate cross-functional teams, where collaboration as a team is key.
About the Role
As the Software Engineering Manager/Software Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading/managing a team of Software developers. On top of this, you will also be required to perform hands-on coding in a 50/50 split capacity.
Responsibilities
* Mentoring and/or training entry-level software engineers as directed by department management.
* Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
* Working closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.
* Managing and encouraging new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations.
* Serving as the initial point of escalation for software development issues within specific area of responsibility.
Requirements
* Experience managing/leading a team of Software Engineers.
* Proficient skills in Java, Spring Boot, Angular or ReactJS, and PostgreSQL.
* Experience in partnering and leading internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needs.
* Demonstrate proficiency with data manipulation language including optimization techniques.
* Collaborate, support, and drive team members to deliver on results, providing technical and professional guidance.
