You would be part of a small team verifying foods that contribute to our extensive database ensuring quality, uniformity and ease of use. You may also be expected to look into queries where food stuffs may have changed over time that lead to queries on their nutritional information, or enter information from large chain restaurants. Responsibilities Content Review: Review and evaluate user-submitted entries for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to our guidelines. Ensure that all entries meet our quality standards. Quality Control: Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in the database, such as typos, formatting issues, missing or incorrect information. Use Excel/Google sheets: upload nutritional data in bulk for restaurant foods ensuring quality of information. Use MIcrosoft Paint/Photoshop: add images to the food items created to enhance user experience. Teamwork: Work as an individual and together as part of a team towards defined weekly KPI’s. Recipe Input - Enter food items and related information into our database with precision and attention to detail. This includes nutritional information, ingredients, measurements, cooking instructions, and relevant tags or categories Work together towards the whole team goal of creating a superior app experience. Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to our data input processes and guidelines to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Experience Experience of using Excel and Google Sheets Willingness to contribute positively to the team’s weekly KPIs Attention to detail High level of accuracy Basic knowledge of nutrition and macros Knowledge and an interest in food and or health and fitness. Previous experience of data entry or content moderation preferable. Collaborative teamwork Effective communication verbally and written Attention to detail and accuracy. Reliability. GCSE in English and Maths. Knowledge of spreadsheets and their uses. Hours 37.5 per week. Initially this role would be full time in the Team Valley office, leading in time to the option to work 2 days from home and 3 days in the office. Core hours Mon-Thurs 10am-noon, 2pm-4pm, Friday 10am-12.30pm
