This provides the opportunity for MDT working as part of the lung cancerand SAO team. As part of a large dietetic department, you will be supported by dietetic managers and colleagues and will contribute to the overall dietetic service including clinical supervision, student trainingand CPD activities. This lead role is outpatient based with 4 weekly outpatient MDT clinics. You will use your expert knowledge and skills to provide support and education for patients, carers, and clinical staff to improvepatient care. You will use your leadership skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice to develop and implement nutrition care pathways and evaluate service provision. You will be encouraged to participate in research and audit and will be supported to share this work nationally to improve outcomes in lung cancer and SAO. There will be the opportunity to collaborate with other specialist lung/ oncology dietitians in Greater Manchester to develop nutrition care pathways within the GM Cancer Alliance.
