CMHT Team Administrator - Saffron House, High Wycombe

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a part-time (30 hours per week) Band 4 Administrator to join our service and work in a well-established, well-organised and busy Chiltern West Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). The working pattern will be 4 days per week 09:00-17:00.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a well-motivated, conscientious and friendly person who is willing to learn and play a key role in improving the lives of the service users we work with. You will have contact with service users, relatives, other members of the public, and professionals from partner organisations. You will have an important role in helping the service to run efficiently in a busy and sometimes demanding environment.
This role will involve frontline tasks, including dealing with telephone enquiries, booking rooms, making appointments, reception duties, data entry, typing (audio and copy), and using the in-house IT systems.
Candidates must be computer literate and demonstrate good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, good typing speeds, excellent organisational and communication skills, and ideally you will have previous office/reception experience.

Job responsibilities
The West CMHT is based at Saffron House in High Wycombe. We will offer you support, supervision, training, and the opportunity for personal development.
* To provide efficient and effective comprehensive administrative support to the Administrative & Performance Manager/team/service.
* To provide secretarial support to members of the team utilising a high level of IT skills to produce quality documentation to support the work of the team using the appropriate Microsoft software and adopting the Trust's corporate standards and style.
* To respond to email, telephone enquiries, and written enquiries using a high level of initiative and responding in a confidential and sensitive way and actioning in the appropriate way.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* High level knowledge of Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint.
* Secretarial training to the level of NVQ2 or equivalent experience.
* Word processing/touch typing.
* ECDL training.
* Working knowledge of email systems and RiO.
Experience
* Administration or secretarial experience.
* Experience of working with confidential documents.
* Other admin or secretarial experience.
* Experience of using digital transcribing solutions.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to prioritise workload and use own initiative.
* Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
