Ofsted, February 2023
Northfield School is a large 11-16 school and specialist sports college. We are an ambitious and inclusive school with state of the art facilities and interactive technology in a well-resourced newly refurbished main building and a separate new Year 7 school.
Following an inspection in February 2023, Ofsted judged the school to be good in all areas. Results in the summer continued the upward trend. This is a great time to join our school.
We wish to appoint a highly motivated Behaviour Support Officer who will provide proactive and operational support to leaders in school in developing and implementing the vision for inclusion and behaviour for learning by actively encouraging all pupils to participate in the full life of the school.
Main duties and responsibilities will include supporting leaders with some of the administrative aspects of the school’s behaviour and rewards strategy and assisting in the implementation of school behaviour protocols and the effective management of children in school by being a visible presence around the school site.
We can offer you:
1. an enthusiastic, talented and supportive team
2. a newly built and superbly resourced teaching and learning environment
3. excellent opportunities for CPD
4. a staff health and well being programme
