Part of the SPTS Engineering division, the Equipment Engineering and Development Group is a multi-disciplined team, providing automation solutions to enable the integration of SPTS process systems into customer semiconductor fabrication factories worldwide.

You will be a confident Engineer with a detailed understanding of all aspects of electrical and electronic design. Using your technical skills you'll be involved in a range of activities to integrate electrical components onto our products.
We are constantly developing new products and this will create much of your work.
You'll team up with other specialists within a project advising on equipment design/integration. We work to tight deadlines in a highly regulated industry - always looking to delight our customers. Some customers will provide requirements for special
Key Responsibilities:
Involvement in Electrical assembly and design including wiring harness design, Electronic control and interface design
Producing engineering drawings, build and test guides.
AC/DC power distribution, Analogue and digital circuit design
Fault finding / problem solving
Qualifications and Experience:
You'll be a qualified engineer ideally to degree-level in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or have an equivalent level of professional experience in electrical design
Electrical/electronic design experience
Strong understanding of Machinery safety regulations and EU harmonized standards and design of safety circuits
Experience in a regulated environments with exposure to EN60204, EN13849, UL/NFPA regulations
Ideally, some AutoCAD/ Solid edge experience and proficiency
