As our Support Worker, you’ll be at the heart of supporting our customers who have complex mental health, offending behaviours and substance misuse needs to develop their skills to live more independently in the community. You’ll make a big difference each day as you help our customers achieve their hopes and aspirations.
Typical day as our Support Worker
* Assisting customers with practical, daily living tasks to develop their independence, helping them to achieve the goals, aspirations and outcomes documented in their support plans.
* Linking in with local agencies to ensure our customers are getting the most out of their time with us.
* Helping customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation.
* Carrying out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews.
* Engaging in meaningful conversations with customers and colleagues.

You bring
* Passion to support our customers to live their best life, working together with an eye for detail.
* Experience of caring for others, whether in a professional or personal capacity.
* The ability to work on your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach.
* Recognizing that every customer is different and adopting a flexible, personal approach to meet their needs.
* Driving is essential, and you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. We’ll pay your mileage!

Job details
* Flexibility in start and finish times to meet customer needs.
* Two-week rolling rota, with one in every two weekends off.
* Able to use technology to update support plans and collaborate with colleagues.
* Enhanced DBS check required, which we will cover the cost for.
