Job summary We are looking for an Inpatient Activities Clinical Support Worker to join the Multi-disciplinary team on the ward.The Inpatient Activities Clinical Support Worker role is full time with evening and weekend working essential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting people in crisis and breaking down the stigma of mental illness through the use of therapeutic activity. You will be working alongside a multi disciplinary team to deliver person centred, evidenced based care. Brunswick Ward is currently a 13 bedded female acute inpatient ward located within Mill View Hospital in Hove. We primarily work with individuals who are aged 18-65. We are passionate about least restrictive practice and implementing new projects on the ward. We are an energetic and motivated team and you will be supported in implementing positive changes in practice for patients. Main duties of the job The Inpatient Activities Clinical Support Worker role includes facilitation of recreational, social and educational groups and individual activities for the service users on the ward. This role involves planning, promoting, delivering and evaluating activities in accordance with service users' needs. You would be part of a supportive and friendly multidisciplinary team with opportunities to work in close collaboration with colleagues.
