Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) is searching for a temporary Operations Coordinator (Stores Ops) to join their dynamic team based at EA1 Wind Farm in the O&M base in Lowestoft, Suffolk. With a contract length of 6 months initially, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our vision of creating a better future and be part of a global organisation committed to sustainability.
As the Operations Coordinator, your main responsibility will be supporting the storage and logistics requirements of an offshore wind farm. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all stock movements are accurately recorded and controlled, maintaining auditable records to meet tight replenishment schedules. Your attention to detail will be crucial when it comes to packing tools and parts, ensuring all dangerous goods and container packing documentation is completed accurately and delivered on time.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
1. Experience in Stores or material control, ideally within Offshore Wind or a similar environment.
2. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
3. Willingness to work a 7/7 shift at the project location, including weekends.
4. IT literacy, particularly MS Office Applications and SAP knowledge is desirable.
5. Proven knowledge of health and safety legislation.
