Registered Nurse, Ward 8, General Surgery, Royal Glamorgan Hospital
We are looking for a registered nurse to join our general surgical ward 8, within the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. The successful candidate will be required to have an interest in the management and care of surgical patients with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Main Duties of the Job
Staff will be required to be well organised, have good time management skills, and the ability to work as part of a team or on their own initiative with high standards and an interest in general surgery.
There will be opportunities for internal development as the University Health Board has a dedicated training and development department offering a wide range of in-house courses. We also have close links with the University of Glamorgan to support your ongoing professional development, which you will be required to demonstrate as part of revalidation.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh applicants are equally welcome to apply.

Salary: £28,834 to £35,099 a year, pro rata'd if part-time.
