About our Team
You will be joining a collaborative, curious team of Software Engineers at all different levels. By joining us, you will have the opportunity to share ownership in solving this problem end to end.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you will provide application Software Development services for defined projects. You will develop software applications by creating structure, coding, testing, debugging, and deploying in Production. You will mainly work on Back-end Development, API, Integration PHP, Laravel, and some front-end work.
Responsibilities
* Developing and delivering features across the full stack (including use of modern PHP frameworks, front-end frameworks, HPCC, and other tools)
* Supporting the effective design of new features and solutions
* Learning how to use our big data platform - HPCC - through a combination of training courses, self-learning, and peer support
* Contributing to the quality assurance effort, particularly through use of test automation tools (such as Playwright, Cypress, and Postman) and Continuous Integration tools (such as GitLab and GitHub)
* Providing technical input and guidance to our cross-functional agile product development teams
Requirements
* Able to demonstrate a broad technical knowledge in PHP development using modern PHP frameworks (Laravel or similar)
* Experience working with and optimizing the use of relational databases such as MySQL or similar
* Possess effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of SOA and API concepts, including security in SSLDC
