At Conveyancing Direct, we have an opportunity to for a Junior Conveyancer to join our team in Manchester. Join our supportive team, where you'll receive comprehensive training and guidance to achieve your CLC qualification. Our innovative pod structure allows you to work closely with experienced seniors, with a supervising conveyancer to develop & train you. Key responsibilities of a Junior Conveyancer You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload which will give you exposure to all aspects of conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, registration and closure of the file. Additional support is provided by our specialised teams in title checking and post-completion, to assist with your workload & provide assistance when needed. Accuracy and attention to detail is key as you will be taking instructions, communicating with clients and 3^rd parties, drafting legal documents including Standard Precedent Letters, Contract Packs, Exchange and Completion letters. Carry out Pre-completion, Land Registry and Conveyancing searches to ensure the file is ready for exchange and completion. Carry out Post Completion work including preparing and sending applications to the Land Registry, Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions, file closures and checking account ledgers. Excellent communicator, who can demonstrate good time management, alongside organisational and problem-solving skills. Accuracy and the ability to pay attention to detail is crucial. Self-motivated and able to work alone or as part of a team. Knowledge of Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and Outlook is preferred but not essential.
