Overview
This position is responsible for:
1. Directing/Managing the sales team and achieving the growth of the Packaging business on both Analogue & Digital products.
2. Evaluating the current performance of the Packaging business and finding ways to help it reach its full potential by identifying new business, product or service opportunities that support the overall growth strategy potentially including across Latin America.
3. Justifying new opportunities against current and future solutions, with a focus on high-value, unique competitive advantages.
4. Planning the optimal go-to-market strategy that provides short and long-term sustainable growth.
5. Manage the day-to-day Packaging business
The preferred location for this position is near a major airport.

Sales Team Management : 40%
6. Manage sales funnel for packaging sales team
7. Conduct periodic salesforce reviews of all opportunities
8. Hold packaging sales team accountable for budgetary numbers
9. Coach all team members on accelerating opportunity close dates
10. Review each team member’s performance to enhance their productivity
11. Travel with each packaging sales team member regularly to assist with customer relations
12. Meet or exceed sales goals provided by the company
13. Identify all high performing personnel and mentor them for advancement
14. Have sales team provide equal number of opportunities in both analogue and digital segments
15. Provide constructive feedback to enhance all productivity of the sales team
Business Development : 60%
16. Identify emerging opportunities by researching industry events, publications, announcements, competitive offerings, tracking sales trends, speaking with leading customers, etc.
17. Evaluate potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, business requirements, technical and financial investments, evaluating options, resolving internal priorities, recommending future investments.
18. Develop strategies and market positions by studying integration of new ventures with current company strategies; examine risks and potentials, estimating the opportunity cost vs. benefit.
19. Propose new business opportunities by determining the investment requirements and potential returns.
20. Analyze project performance and company impact to drive insights; track/report on campaign costs, performance, and ROI.
21. Monitor sales performance vs. sales goals for all products and address countermeasures to the sales if there are gaps.
22. Participate in customer demonstrations, trade shows, conferences, and events to promote products and generate leads.
23. Work on special projects and applications when necessary
24. Assist in any new developmental projects or testing programs in relation to competitive products
25. Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential at the appropriate management level.
26. Update your market knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining a customer network, participating in professional organizations, etc.
27. Work effectively with key C-Level decision makers, develop long term strategic relationships.
28. Prepare and present powerful, persuasive sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of packaging products portfolio.
29. Develop and maintain a robust ideation pipeline toward targeted opportunities to continuously grow the business and generate sales.
30. Collaborating with the marketing team and leading sales to ensure execution of the go-to-market strategies.
31. Prepare a business review for the senior management team monthly.
Required Skills/Education
32. 5+ years related experience in the Flexographic and/or Packaging Industry.
33. 5+ years people management experience.
34. Extensive knowledge of current and past Flexographic and/or Packaging technology and trends in the industry
35. High interpersonal management skills, able to lead in a team environment
36. Good communication skills: listening, verbal, written, and visual communication
37. Ability to conduct effective customer/user interviews
38. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships.
39. Outstanding organization and time management skills.
40. Able to build and evaluate revenue, pricing, and product adoption models
41. Effective meeting planning
42. Effective and accurate notetaking
43. Effective task and time management
44. Basic MS Office skills and CRM skills.
45. Valid Driver’s license
46. Has valid passport required for travel
47. Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50-75%
Desired Skills
48. General knowledge of the Flexographic and/or Packaging industry
49. General knowledge of flexography, lithography, workflow, color and digital printing
50. Ability to analyze and communicate product needs and manage product life cycles
51. Previous experience managing and leading a team
52. Proven leadership, mentoring and coaching skills
53. Ability to develop innovative solutions and demonstrate good use of independent judgment.
54. Language fluency in English and Spanish
