Are you an experienced and qualified Electrical Engineer looking to develop your experience in a supervisory role and beyond? Do you have experience in an industrial environment working with heavy plant and equipment? We are seeking a Relief Shift Team Leader to work within a range of Bulk and Break terminals. Your Role In this role you will work with the Engineering Manager, Supervisors & Team Leaders within the Bulk and Break Department, to deliver on-time delivery, continuous flow, customer satisfaction and zero defects, across a rolling shift pattern, carrying out maintenance on heavy plant and equipment. You will complete planned and reactive maintenance activities and carry out modifications to all types of heavy plant and equipment, liaising with operations to prioritise breakdown repairs, using fault finding diagnostic techniques and equipment to reduce the impact of reactive maintenance. You will assist the management team when required in a range of activities, including project work, QA systems and Health and Safety. It’s vital that all activities are documented and carried out with due care and attention in line with our Health and Safety policy and HSE regulations. What you'll bring You will be qualified to a minimum of ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with experience of working with heavy plant and equipment in an industrial environment, ideally gained within Bulk Handling operations or similar. You will have extensive practical experience with relevant plant and equipment, including conveyor systems and rotating equipment. You will also be able to fault find and problem solve, utilising diagnostic equipment. Previous experience in a supervisory position and knowledge of DSEAR, LOLER and PUWER is desirable. You will possess strong and relevant experience in managing and supervising contractors and demonstrate commitment to maintaining the safety of your team members. Possess good working knowledge of permit to work systems and accident reporting. A full valid Driving Licence is essential for this role. Who are we?
